During the month of March, the Rotary Club of Coatesville collected more than 6,000 pounds of food from money and food donations.
Food was collected at the Acme in Downingtown and The Grocery Outlet in Coatesville, as well as at local businesses, churches, and schools.
This equates to 5,030 meals for your neighbors that struggle with food insecurity in Chester County.
Special thanks to Lowe’s, Acme, The Grocery Outlet, and all those who generously supported initiative.
Keep an eye out for it next year as the Coatesville Rotary partners with the Thorndale/Downingtown Rotary to continue the mission of the Chester County Food Bank in making a difference to those in need.
