Coatesville High School three-star running back Aaron Young, who already has a lengthy offer list from various schools across the country, might have received his best offer yet, writes Daniel Gallen for Penn Live.
Young announced on Monday evening from his Twitter account that Penn State is the latest school to extend him an offer.
The Nittany Lions are the twenty-seventh team on the offer list, which already includes Ole Miss, Arkansas, Michigan State, and Rutgers, and many others.
The 247Sports composite rankings give Young three stars as a recruit. He is currently ranked the fourteenth player in the state, the forty-third running back nationally, and is the 684th overall prospect. He is also the twelfth-ranked prospect in the Class of 2019 Pennsylvania rankings published by Penn Live.
Young has been a productive star at Coatesville, rushing 1,687 yards and completing thirty-one touchdowns last season including helping the Red Raiders make PIAA Class 6A semifinals.
Avery, Young’s older brother, is also joining Rutgers this summer as a three-star cornerback.
