The store at 3477 Lincoln Highway celebrated the opening with beer and wine tastings on Friday. It has gone through alterations over the past two months as Pennsylvania legislation requires restaurant-type seating in stores selling takeout beer and wine.
The store now offers a large selection of domestic, imported, and craft beers alongside a number of wines. Customers also have a “mix-a-six” option which allows them to create their own six-packs, as well as a variety of eat-in and take-out offerings, such as sandwiches, wraps, and salads.
“We’re excited to help our customers find the perfect wine or beer for their party or family gathering,” said store manager Mike Smith. “We also want to thank our Thorndale customers for their patience as the Beer & Wine Eatery was prepared for this opening.”
The new eatery, which can seat thirty people, is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
