First time homebuyers looking for a home in Coatesville area will not have much trouble finding something of interest thanks to the recent new construction, writes Sandy Smith for Philadelphia Magazine.
Among the homes currently on the market is a new traditional in the Sadsbury Park subdivision in western reaches of Chester County on offer for $239,900.
Constructed by Keystone Custom Homes, the home is an upgrade of the developer’s Cape Cod model. However, this version offers prospective buyers a front porch and large gable which transforms it almost into a bungalow.
The subdivision home is described as “an award-winning walkable new home community, with tree-lined roads, broad sidewalks and walking trails.”
The inside of the home offers a contemporary style open-plan main floor set up. This is made up of a living room, eat-in kitchen and a master suite with large walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom. A half bath and two more bedrooms are on the second floor.
The home’s original buyer also attached the previously detached one-car garage to the home. This makes trips to the garage much more pleasant in cold winter weather.
