St. Francis-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church in Malvern will hold a three-day Arts Festival and Art Sale, from Feb. 23-25, featuring the work of more than 25 local artists, the works from students from local high schools, a watercolor demonstration by a local artist, and musical performances.
Proceeds from the event benefit Coatesville’s Art Partners Studio, which is committed to ensuring that everyone in Coatesville has access to quality arts education and artistic experiences that enrich their lives.
The art is juried by Chester County native Mick McAndrews. He is a signature member of the Philadelphia Watercolor Society, the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, and the Baltimore Watercolor Society.
McAndrews will conduct a free watercolor demonstration on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 10 AM.
“This year’s Arts Festival serves to highlight both the visual and musical arts in our community,” said Fr. Kevin Dellaria, rector at St. Francis-in-the-Fields.
“We worship God in many ways, and our Arts Festival marries art and music to benefit an organization – Art Partners Studio – that elevates the hearts, minds, and spirits of our brothers and sisters in Coatesville.”
