The Brandywine Health Foundation in Coatesville is looking for a new Strategy Officer who focus on achieving the Foundation’s strategic vision and goals.
The primary responsibility of the Strategy Officer is the daily management of the Foundation’s programs and initiatives as well as their integration with grantee/partner investments.
The responsibilities also include the strategic implementation of the Foundation’s priorities such as engaging with the community, the writing of grants, organizing cross sector partnerships, and overseeing collaborations across sectors.
Among the duties, the Strategy Officer will need to regularly interact with team members, grant-making partners, existing and potential partners, community and other leaders on a regular basis to further the Foundation’s priorities and goals.
Strong program management and the ability to facilitate collaborations to solve complex community health problems are of key importance for the position.
Some of the specific activities include acting as project lead for select initiatives and programs, and establishing collaborative relationships with the nine townships and municipalities served.
The successful applicant needs to have an undergraduate degree in Public Policy, Health Administration, Public Health, Public Administration, Social Work, Urban Planning, Non-Profit Management or a related field, a minimum five years’ experience in philanthropy, health-care, health-related consulting and/or community based health and human services, and proven experience in public health, community engagement and comprehensive topic/content knowledge.
